Upon receiving the results back from my questionnaire, I finally decided that there is a gap in the market at current for a zombie horror film. This was because my key question, which would decide if this genre of film would be appropriate at this point in time, came back positive and almost 90% of the volunteers would pay to see a zombie film that promised to diverge from the average zombie flick. In terms of what emotions to try and trigger in our film, I chose suspense, panic and fear. This was the three most commonly raised answers from all of the feedback and so it's now key to implement these emotive targets into my final piece of film. Another aspect of the questionnaire that I've decided to use in my film is blood. When I asked, through the questionnaire, what was looked for in a horror film, perhaps the one thing that came through in almost 95% - 100% of responses was blood! This was what I chose to implement in our final piece of film upon feedback from our questionnaires. By creating this questionnaire I have gained a great insight into my potential audience, which in my opinion is invaluable. With my new found knowledge I can now cater to the appropriate audience.
