As the data I have gathered should suggest, there is a huge gap in the market currently for any form of zombie horror film in the film market. The increase in popularity in the past year for psychological horror (mainly caused by events such as the supernatural) are extremely popular thanks to the huge success of films like Paranormal Activity. Therefore many of the films to be released during the year are to be supernatural based (for instance five of the eleven horror films mentioned are supernatural horrors). It is therefore a great time to release such a product into the market as people will evidently become bored with the same type of films throughout the year and a greater variety will be quickly welcomed.
